Distorted Picture

Here's a distorted picture. Can anyone guess who or what the character is? What episode it is from? And what's going on?

Here are a couple more banners.

I Am The End...

Here's my "I am the end..." banner. Enjoy!

I'll let everyone stew on the previous posts for awhile, and I'll be back and better when finals are over in two weeks. Until then, bless it be!

P.S. I'll try to keep posting banners.

Fan Trailer

You guys check out this fan trailer that I have found. It is so awesome!!! Don't believe me just see for yourself. Click here. It's only 34 seconds long, but it's worth every penny. Let me tell ya!

In Celebration Of 8 Seasons

Here's one of the banners I have made in reguards to Charmed's 8 Seasons. It's a Paige banner as you can tell, and I made it in celebration of 8 seasons of Charmed.
I'll post more as the month goes on and Charmed's end approaches.

And oh, yeah. Here's a banner I made for Paige's wedding to Henry.

Here's another one.

Season One Overall

Okay, I couldn't help myself. I just had to type something else, for I don't know when I will have the time to do it agains since finals are right around the corner. But enough of that, let's talk season one. You are probably thinking, season one? Well, it's hard for me to know that only four episodes of Charmed remain, so I thought that I'd jump right into the beginning and bring you all along with me. Let's talk season one overall. It's got to be one of the best, for it set the standards for what has happened over Charmed's existence. It's obvious that from the first episode Something Wicca This Way Comes to the season finale Deja Vu All Over Again that the series has kept getting better and better in both writing and special effects. So what's your take on the show's progression? How has the sisters evolved as individual characters and as a family? What is your favorite episode? Favorite guest characters? Do you have any favorite spells? And who or what was the biggest bad of the season in your opinion?

Torn Over Hex

I really, really like Sunday's episode The Torn Identity. I would definitely give it a 9/10, even if it was a transition episode into the final battle between the trio and the duo. It had some great parts that I liked and loved. For instance, the martial issue...or I should really say the identity issue surrounding Paige was interesting and great. It is good to see that they aren't just making it about the fighting...that they are keeping it real. Keeping the show to the sisters' lives. And the way that they choose to work the issue out was just so funny. Having Coop (which was the best thing he did for this episode) put Paige in Henry and hearing Henry talk to himself both at his office and at the Manor was hilarious. And it was comical to see him scratch and rub his head from having Paige in his head. That was priceless. It was cool to also see Paige's powers work with her in Henry, and his "cool" response when he called for the potion is one of the reason that I like him on the show. He's got style, he's got cuteness and he's got humor. Another part that I most enjoyed was Christy's full-force b****ness. And it is all because she not only can talk the talk but can walk the walk. I mean who would want to mess with someone that has enought power to back up what she's saying. Not me! The episode had some duds, too, like Billie's instant crossover and Micheal. But that doesn't hold the episode back. It was really outstanding. The graphics and special effects were believable and, in general, incredibly fabulous. Generation Hex holds no candle to The Torn Identity, not even a birthday candle. It's Torn over Hex all the way, baby!

Thanks to CasaHalliwell.it for the picture!

Time To Ponder The Underworld

Shoooo, the homework, quizzes and tests are over. Well, almost. Thursday is my last day of classes and, in two weeks I'll be saying good bye to my third year of college as finals come to an end. I hope that everyone is having some fun to relieve the stress for the end of the school year. Now, I'd like to jump to the down under.

It appears from what I've read of upcoming episodes over at Spoilerfix.com that the Halliwell sisters will be taking refuge in the Underworld after the magical community turns on them via the force of the duo. After eight years of Charmed, we've had some great experiences with the Underworld and some mishaps, but we have no real clue as to what the Underworld holds or how far it expands. From what "is" said about the mystical place, the Underworld is a maze of caves and fortresses that have destinations like the continents. The race of demons that it holds range from warlocks and darklighters to manticores and kazis, much like the diversity of our world. Plus, the Underworld is housed by some type of barrier that divides the world from the Underworld. We've seen it countless times, especially in connection with Leo. When he was a whitelighter, Leo couldn't sense any of his charges in the Underworld if he is in the world and vice-versa. And don't forget that it's musky, dark and dreary. And yes, the Halliwell sisters will have to travel the dusty paths, march through the hardcore civilians just to protect their coven and family. So let's talk about the times that the sisters have walked the lands of the dark; let's talk about the demons that they have faced; and let's talk about the conditions that separate the Underworld from the world of the sisters.

The Book of Three, Vol. 2

Whooohoooo! I've heard rumors of a second coming, but didn't believe it. Well, I can believe it now and so can you. The Book of Three, Vol. 2 looks incredible (as you can tell). Yes, it's got the whole Vol. 1 design going on with the picture of the three leading ladies, but don't let that fool you. The pictures are from season 8's promotions and the cover is now decked out in blue. It'll have the same awesome features that the previous book had, even the full color photo insert. And even a few of the following:

~ Episode Guide
~ Character profiles
~ Notable quotes
~ Exclusive in-depth interviews with the cast and crew
~ An introduction by someone up high on Charmed's ladder (like Brad who did the firs volume)

You can bet your bottom dollar that it'll probably have something special. After all, it'll covering Charmed's ending season. You know that "they" will want to type something up to share. Let me just say that this is just my opinion of what might be in the book. I have no idea what to expect yet, except for the outline of what the first book holds. So for now, take what I say with a grain of salt.

Phoebe Lane

Wow. Generation Hex was a penniless episode, and I don't mean that in a bad way. It wasn't an all out Charmed episode, but it carried something special. Now, I don't mean the whole magic school kids or the Jenkins killing, though both had some great parts such as Wyatt's advice and the fall out we all know is coming from the Jenkins' deaths. What I mean is that the whole Phoebe and Cupid mission to find "love" again was finally paying off for the show, or maybe just me. Revisiting some of Charmed's best Phoebe-Love moments was great. They brought back some good memories and set the stage for what we all know is coming: Cupid falling for Phoebe. Oh, don't say it didn't cross your mind. The moment his hotness hit the screen we all saw it coming. I mean...come on...Phoebe and hot guys always...always equals lust and romance.

Alright. Let's have it. Tell me what you think of Phoebe Lane. Can you guess all the Phoebe Lane scenes? What did you think of the episode as a whole? How about Piper and the magic school students? And then there's always Wyatt's adorable moment. So cute, huh?

Goodbye Charmed

According to TheCharmedOnes.com, Charmed production has ended. The sets have been broken apart and discarded leaving nothing but Charmed's magical memory. It's sad, I know. But let me tell you this, "the last scene shot was Phoebe's wedding which was done in one shot. After that everyone was hugging each other and crying." Plus, "last week in filming, Alyssa gave the cast and crew pictures that she took, as well as, pictures Mitch (the still photographer) took and put them in a Mac book. She also gave the crew In and Out Burgers one day, and an ice cream another day. Holly had Pink's Hot Dogs come to the studio one day, and Rose brought in Sushi for everyone." Also, today April 13th, the cast and crew enjoyed a final Wrap-Up Party in Los Angeles, leaving tomorrow open for everyone their freedom to go down their own separate and different paths.

Wow, that's a lot to take in. I'm just glad that everyone had a chance to say a proper goodbye this year and from the reading it sure seems like the three leading ladies gave the crew a warm goodbye. Makes things seem empty, I know, but Holly, Rose, Alyssa and even Shannon gave us a great, creative, magical wonder. Thank you ladies! They all are spendid actresses and amazingly beautiful people. These ladies have given us eight amazing years, and I hope that their next eighty are just as great. And even though Charmed's departure is the end of an era, let's remember that it'll always be number one in our book (and especially my heart).

GOODBYE CHARMED! BLESS IT BE!

Henry's A Fit

After rewatching The Last Temptation of Christy and Engaged & Confused, I realized that Henry and Paige are truly a great couple. At season eight's middle, love comes softly for Paige as she meets Henry through one of her charges. On the other hand, Henry feels something right away. But it's been great to see Paige's love for the guy blossom, while we watch Henry trying to figure her out and trying to figure the dating thing out as well. Their luch date was just so cute. Paige thought that Henry asked her out on a date, while Henry asked her out to Nate's because he was afraid she'd say no to the date. It's good that they add some reality to the show, especially the dating portion which is so hard to figure out these days. And then the whole magical interruption with Simon was just a happy subplot for the two as well as this viewer. It allowed us to see that Henry's a man who will not run from magic because that would be like running from Paige, which tells me that he values Paige's life more than his...hmmm...sounds like love to me. Oh, boy does it. No sooner does he win Paige from Simon, Herny proposes. And it's one of the most romantic spots ever...the San Fransico Bridge. It is, unless you are terribly afraid of heights. But with a whitelighter who can now heal, I'll say that Henry's safe from having every bone in his body broken.

Even after the proposal, we see just how much the love birds are in love. They fuss about normal things, which is so werid because it's the reversal of Piper's normal life kick. Piper wanted (and still does at times) the normal stuff so much so that she fusses non-stop on or about magic. However, Paige is the queen of magic love and all she and Henry fuss about is normal things, like toothpaste. It's a great turn, which tends to go with the Paige character and the show. But what's even better is that Henry seems to blend into the show just right with Paige on his arm. He's sweet and the perfect guy. He doesn't let Paige run over him and Paige doesn't let him run over her. And the the tender touches and eye glances just add to their chemistry as a couple. I have to say that it is all on account of the actors. Rose seems to be having fun with Ivan. And it really shows in her acting as Paige. So it is that Henry's a fit for both the show and for Paige.

Plus, he seems to get along with Wyatt, which is always a good thing. I mean who would want to be on Wyatt's bad side. Remember the rainbow cake and the Elder? Enough said, huh?

Holly Expecting Again !!!

That's right. You have heard the truth. It appears that Holly and David are giving Finley, who will be two this month on April 26th, a little brother or sister this fall.

Congratulations to the proud parents!

And good luck Finley (trust me...you'll need it if you have a sibling like mine)!

** Sorry that I've not posted any substantial pieces. It's just been a hell-razer this week. I'm on the hunt, though, for a interesting point or article.

New Charmed CD

According to TheCharmedOnes.com -- Charmed: The Final Chapter CD will come in May, 2006. The third soundtrack to the hit show will serve as a sonic conclusion to the series. On May 9th, Artisti's Addiction Records will release the third soundtrack tie-in to the popular WB show Charmed.

"Charmed is an amazing show which showcases some of the hottest and cutting edge music, says Jonathan Platt, the producer of the soundtrack. "It gives us a great opportunity to release a soundtrack to a long running successful show." "Spelling did an amazing job over the years choosing songs from known and up coming artists," adds Jonathan Miller, President of Artist's Addiction Records.

Charmed: The Final Chapter Track Listing
(1) Baby Got Going from Liz Phair
(2) Pinch Me by Barenaked Ladies
(3) Needs from Collective Soul
(4) Good Enough from Sarah McLachlan
(5) Weight Of The World by Chantal Kreviazuk and so many others.

Man, oh, man. I just can't wait. I was wondering when Charmed would get another soundtrack. And even though it's happening, it's a little hard to believe. I mean it's their last season and I didn't think that anyone would do anything for a show that's coming to an end. But I'm sure glad I'm wrong. Who knows, maybe it's a way of giving Charmed a last shout.

DVD Extras

It's been floating on the web that there will be extras on Charmed's Complete 8th Season. Those fans who have huffed their opinions and comments at Paramount are finally be heard. Yes, it's extras on the last season and that season won't be out until who know how long, but look at the bright side -- It's the last season DVD and no extras from the other seasons have been given out, so there is much hope that the 8th season DVD will be slammed with tons of extras from all seasons. Hears to Paramount hearing our plea of all seasons of Charmed extras on the 8th DVD!
