Another Moment

Working hard and failing miserably!

This picture looks like one of Darryl's scenes. But it's not. The charts, timelines just make this moment absolutely fabulous. I like a mystery and the information one has to comb through to get to the truth or find the opponent. And oh, boy. This opponent is definitely giving Miss Phoebe Halliwell a heap of trouble. Well, what could one expect? The enemy that Phoebe is on the hunt for is one who not only thinks and acts like Paige in everyway...but is Paige in everyway -- everyway except in the gender department. Plus, pitting a Charmed One against a Charmed One in some sort of magica mix-up is just what makes this picture's episode all the more interesting in my opinion. Does anyone else agree with me? Does this episode seem fairly good?

P.S. This episode is 6.20 -- "A Wrong Day's Journey Into Right."

Icons...

I've finally been able to complete a good number of my Piper icons and upload them. Hope you enjoy!

Sad News

According to TheCharmedOnes.com...

"TV Producer Aaron Spelling Dies at 83 (Associated Press, June 24, 2006)

LOS ANGELES (June 24) - Aaron Spelling, a onetime movie bit player who created a massive number of hit series, from the vintage "Charlie's Angels" and "Dynasty" to "Beverly Hills 90210" and "Melrose Place," died Friday, his publicist said. He was 83. Spelling died at his mansion in Los Angeles after suffering a stroke on June 18, according to publicist Kevin Sasaki.

Mr. Spelling died at 6:25 p.m. (June 23rd) at his Los Angeles home, wife Candy and son Randy at his side, according to publicist Kevin Sasaki. Although daughter Tori Spelling was not reportedly present, Us Weekly reports in its latest issue that, days before the stroke, she reconciled with father following a months-long rift purportedly stemming from the protrayal of them in her semi-autobiographical VH1 comedy series, so noTORIous.

Spelling set a record of producing more than 30,000 TV episodes. His latter-day hits were among his biggest hits: The family drama 7th Heaven, which premiered in 1996, and the supernatural series Charmed, casting spells as of 1998, paced the WB into the 21st century.

Memorial services are pending."

* As a huge fan of his many shows, I'm sad to see him go. I sincerely give my condolences to the Spelling family and wish them all the best. And I wish to thank Mr. Spelling himself for the years he has been in my life by just offering me wonderful shows like Charmed and Beverly Hills 90210.

S6 Moment

A picture of pain.

Look at Piper - in this very second, all memories whether they be happy, sad or mad come flying back in one fell swoop. And this is such a perfect picture to capture Piper's pain as she remembers that Leo left her...and their son. I love this season six moment. It's truly a heartache, especially when Phoebe expresses Piper's pain and anger with her newly found empathic powers. My heart tears as I see Piper glance at the scene and the expression of her emotions. *Tear.*

~ Thought that I'd post some clips from various season six episodes every once in awhile so that everyone can recall some of their favorite and non-favorite moments, scenes and episodes. So what do you think about this particular picture?

Wyatt Icons

As promised, I have made some icons of wyatt. Tell me what you think?

A cute fella, huh?

** These icons are a little big. Sorry for the error!

Briefing

Great afternoon to all. I'm back and relaxed! The mountains gave me some time to think, and I've decided to finish up my season three viewing of Charmed before I continue on my season five DVD journey.

Blog Changes
I'm thinking of adding a counter to the blog as soon as I can (Ooo, I've added one. Looook ------>). Plus, I think that I might change up the template and add little things here and there. I'll post more news soon! (Here's the new look. What do you think?)

Icons Galore
Currently, I am in the middle of picking and choosing which and what I'd like to make for icons. Wyatt and Piper are definites to turn up soon, and Prue right on their heels. If anyone has some they created and would like to see them on the blog for others to see and comment on, send them to me at Rudy8850@yahoo.com. I'll post them as soon as I can, but don't forget to leave a name for credit (or I'll have to post your email).

P.S. Don't forget to join the fun with the Charmed This or That game. It's the third post down from this one.

My First Billie Icons

My first icons are of Billie. I didn't plan it that way; her pictures were just there first, i.e. "b" comes before every letter except "a." They aren't great, but they'll do for now. Enjoy!

P.S. I'm hoping to get some of Wyatt and the sisters up soon, but for now, don't forget to play the Charmed This Or That game below.

This or That (Game)

To keep the blog up and running as I wait for inspiration, I thought that I'd initiate the Charmed This or That game. It's quite simple really. One has two choices, such as Prue or Paige, and the person has to choose either Prue or Paige and then leave two choices for the next poster. I'll demonstrate by going first.

Prue or Paige?

I choose Prue because I first fell in love with her in season one, and from there on she has always captivated my heart in such episodes as The Power Of Two and Primrose Empath. (Comments about choice are optional)

And now I'll leave a choice for the next witch:

Belthazor or Sykes?

-- Have fun!

T-Shrit

Ladies and gents,

A fellower blogger provided me with the link to Zazzle. It's a marketplace where anyone and everyone can create, view or buy t-shirts, mugs and more. I have personally created my first zazzle shirt. It's called "Dark Love." Yep, it's a Phoebe and Cole t-shirt, as you can see.

What you don't see is the back, and I offer my apologies. The back just has a typed message: "...it's seductive and doomed!"

P.S. I plan on making more as time permits, but for now, check out the previous posts and enjoy the graphics of the shirt. And if you would like to buy the shirt, use the above link to go about acquiring it.

Cole Versus Wyatt

I just finished watching season five's Sam I Am, when a thought occurred to me. During the whole episode, fans see the unlimited possiblities of Cole's newly found powers that he stole from several demons during his time in the wasteland. In this episode, fans watched Cole go as far as to empower another being, a darklighter. And as I watched the last portion of the episode, when Piper, Phoebe and Paige stand together to destroy Cole, I began to wonder what it would be like to see Cole and (future) Wyatt in a battle. One much like Piper and Cole's stand-off in Y Tu Mummy Tambien. It would be freakin' awesome, huh? The only question left is: who would Cole fight -- Evil Wyatt or Good Wyatt?

What do you guys and gals think of this thought? Have you ever considered it? And who would you choose Cole to fight? Personally, I can see Cole fight both Evil and Good Wyatt. Of course, both would be under totally different circumstances, like a fight for the Underworld thrown with Evil Wyatt or a grand battle of good versus evil with the Good Wyatt.

P.S. P4's Halliwell Manor (my msn group site) has been erased, deleted, destroyed. I was scanning my uploads and managing some files, when all of a sudden I hit the wrong button. I tried to make it go back, but I had no such luck. I'm putting this mishap behind me. I had spent boundless time working on that site, and I'm going to miss it, but life must go on. I will now focus all of my attention on my blogs. Maybe in the future I'll create another site dedicated to one of my other favorite shows, but for now...it's just the blogs.

A Great Read!

Viewers have seen new characters come and go on the WB’s former one-hour show, and most of those characters are either the sisters’s love interests or demonic foes. However, there are some Charmed characters that don’t fit into those two categories. Specifically, one such character is Victor Bennett. Victor is the father of Prue, Piper and Phoebe. He’s a businessman and a non-magical entity. The latter character trait is probably why Victor is one of my most beloved Charmed people. He’s a portal for mortals to enter into the magical world, just like Darryl. Read’s made brief appearances, but I feel like his Victor character is helpful in adding to the depth of the three sisters. I love the humor and the emotion that James Read brings to the show. The actor who first played Victor didn’t have any softness or skills as far as I can tell that made him fit into the show, but Read is amazing. In his feature debut, which I believe is season three’s We All Scream For Ice Cream, James Read captivates my heart. His father/daughter moments with Shannon are so great. You can actually believe that they have some history...bad history. And then Read’s and Shannon’s moment in the Ice Cream truck – WOW! I was totally bawling at Read’s “I’m not leaving here without you” line. And his other Charmed appearances only get better and better. James is truly a great Read!

What are your thoughts on James Read? Did you prefer him over the season one Victor? And what are your most favorite James Read episodes?

P.S. And I'm glad that the Charmed writers made him great at being a grandpa, especially considering his lack of parental care with his children.

The Day Of...

OMG! I haven't had time yet to watch more than one episode (the 2 hour premiere) of Charmed's season five, but I plan, too. I just had to stop and type out a couple of things. First of all, did you guys see that CBS has already came into the DVD sets. I reckon that the Paramount/CBS merger has happened. Which begs the question...why are there no extras yet? Well, the only answer that I could come up stems from Charmed's already established overseas DVD market of the seasons (1 - 7). And since season eight is the only season not yet released over yonder, S8 will be the only DVD collection of Charmed that gets special attention from the merger. Sucks, I know. My second observation is the new menu designs. Have you seen them? Even though I didn't and still don't like the color of the season five DVD collection, the new menu shots are astounding. Just take a look...

Looks great, huh? There are two more menu shots, but for some reason I can't upload them. Sorry!

PS -- I just can't believe that I have this season. I can't believe that today is the day of season five's release. It's exciting, but it's also a little scary. There are eight seasons of Charmed, and five are out on DVD. That means that there is only three more...count...three more seasons to be released. Freaky...totally freaky. Okay, I gotta go and watch some more of The Power of Three. See ya later!

The Eve Of S5

Good evening all. I'm exhausted -- physically. I've been helping my dad at his shop since school let out, and let me just tell ya that it's hard dealing with tires and wheels on a daily basis. But there is sunshine in the darkness. Today is the eve of season five's debut in the United States. That is what is keeping me going. Well, that and the fact that I'm trying to rewatch as most of the previous Charmed seasons as I can. I'm currently on the third disc of season three, and I'm hoping to get through as much as I can of it and season four by tomorrow -- the day of.

I hope everyone of you had a great weekend! And for all of you US fans, don't forget to go out and get your copy of Charmed's fifth season. Below are some season five pictures to help get you excited and keep the magic going.

Uncover Fear Her!

A fury. More importantly, a highly pissed off witch-fury. Piper Halliwell on an emotional bender to rid her heart of the grief and pain from Prue's death. She took this quick turn to evil as one of her many temptations, as have her sisters...Prue, Phoebe and Paige...at one point or the other. And although this transformation of Piper is awesome, it is aggressive and rather meanacing.

Furthermore, from hairy beast, Barbus-cursed dominatrix and high-screaming executioner, a Halliwell has exhibited some endearing, but chilling, petrifying or bloodcurdling makeovers over the great eight years of Charmed. I most joyfully delighted in the wicked, possessed Woogy/Phoebe that held the knife to Piper's back in season one. And one can not forget about Paige's evil influence from The Source, who nearly got her to orb a man's heart from his chest. Below I have a few of my favorite evildoers that have made one or the other of the Halliwell sisters just as dangerous as ever.

Are there any others? Which were more meanacing, more fearing? Which were not?

Charmed Crossword

Due to one of my fellow bloggers, I have created a Charmed crossword puzzle. Check it out and enjoy!

Puzzle here.
