Promo Pics for Shannen's Show
The following two promotional pictures are from Shannen's new show, Breaking Up With Shannen Doherty. She's quiet fetching, isn't she?
If you recall from a previous post, Breaking Up With Shannen Doherty is a show centered on Shannen giving advices and input on how to breakup with someone. The show will premiere in August on the Oxygen network. Have fun with the pictures, and don't forget to catch Shannen's show.
P.S. Shannen will be on The View this Monday (July 31st) and Tuesday (August 1st). So don't forget to set your VCRs!

Discussing Chris
Given the upcoming season six DVD release, I thought that we could focus on Drew Fuller and his character Chris.
At a ripe age of 23, Drew Fuller joined the cast of Charmed as the mysterious whitelighter, Chris Perry. From the moment he sobered stone cold Paige, Chris has been the Halliwells’ number one protector, as well as their most hidden antagonist. He has portrayed abductor with Valkyries, demon tutor and manipulator. He’s loved and lost, mucked the lines of time and altered destiny. He’s a man of many talents and many allegiances. Chris Perry/Halliwell has returned over the course of Charmed history in many forms, guiding and representing things in his father’s life, while returning from the future when him and his brother lose the advantage during a demon battle. So Fuller’s Charmed character has had a full, interactive life. Some things were great to watch and others weren’t so great. When asked once about his favorite episodes on Charmed, Drew responded, “Spin City, I Dream of Phoebe and Hyde School Reunion.” A clump of episodes that verge in completely different directions, only held together by their forging connection of the characters. What are your three most favorite Chris episodes from Charmed? Do you agree with Fuller on his choices, or are you in complete difference? And what are you comments on the character himself? Where you fond of the new addition or did you consider it as horrible as the addition of Billie?

TNT Gives Goodies
Hey all,
I've got a little news. According to Charmed-Net, "TNT will be showing Charmed season eight when The WB releases it to them, which will be sometime after the reruns on The WB are finished this summer." How is that possible? Well, TNT has a "syndication contract for the entire series," which means that the beautiful trio will remain on the air awhile longer. Great news, huh? Is to me! I can hardly wait to see the whole series as a whole.

A Little Something
I don't wish for you all to suffer in my Smallville obsession, and I hope that you haven't. I'll try harder to focus more on other things, but for now, here is a little something.
ThePowerofCharmed.com had the bewitching pleasure to interview the renown Charmed author Diana Gallagher. If you aren't familiar with her books, then allow me to offer up some of her titles...Becareful What You Witch For (One of my favorites -- Oops. It might be one of my favorites, but Taylor is right. This book isn't by Gallagher; it's by D.A. Stern.), Spirit Of The Wolf, Dark Vengeance and the recent Hurricane Hex. Her credits aren't only of Charmed. She has written for a multitude of other series, like Smallville and Buffy. You can read the interview by clicking here. It's not a new episode or a new book, but it's something. Enjoy!!!

Bewitching The View
Our very own Shannen Doherty will be riding her broom over to co-host on the daytime talk show The View. After the rumors and news gossip of Star and her known feud, Star has taken leave of the talk show this past June. Doherty will take her seat for two days, July 31st and August 1st. Why only two days? Well, The View and its network have settled on a rotating cast of co-hosts until a replacement for Star can be found. I've never been a fan for the show. Sure I've caught some of it during the day, but it has never really "caught" my attention. But you can believe that I will try my hardest to see Doherty whenever I can. Speaking of witch...oh, excuse me...speaking of which, Doherty is also preparing herself for a new show over on the Oxygen network. She will be in a new reality show entitled Breaking Up With Shannen Doherty starting this August. It's more of an advice show...hmmm, any one getting a picture of Phoebe right now? Anyway, the show will center on Shannen giving others advice on exiting relationships, which she's steller at...so things should workout for her. Hee, hee.

P.S. Don't forget to catch The Charmed Ones tonight on The WB with the rerun episodes 8.09 -- Hulkus Pocus and 4.18 -- Bit Me.

VCL Banner
HELLO ALL! I am back. And tired. After a long, peaceful ride down the river in a keewee, I am back and better sunburnt than ever. It's painful, but I'll survive.
Okay on to the reason for my post. I have a new banner. More specifically, its a banner for Vaya Con Leos. I just love that episode. It speaks volumes of Leo and Piper and really captures the true tragedy of their epic love. I can only hope that this banner can convey all that the episode does...

Bye, Bye From The Beginning
I recently stumbled upon a news post I thought I would share with you all. According to a TV.com article link, The WB has decided to croak one last time on Sunday, Sept. 17th, with all their signature shows. Of course, The WB will only be rebroadcasting the pilot episodes of those television shows. Shows that will include but will not be limited to Felicity, Dawson's Creek and Buffy. To read the entire story, link here. You'll have to have a subscription to access it, but all you really need to know is what I typed up above. So prepare to saddle up and enjoy the glory days!

Ahhhh, Season 6
As all of you know, I’m currently in the midst of posting season 6 moments on the blog, and somewhere between the mysterious creature from the future and the Ghostly plane in which Piper and Leo find each other again, I realized what an incredible season it was. I understand from countless forums that several fans had disputes with season 6, mainly due to the spilt of the power couple, but in actuality, it was that ache that made the season. Our precious Charmed mother returns from “up there” with no pain, a husband lost, a fatherless child and a demon-crazed whitelighter. She fights her own feelings, she fights demons, she fights for her life and just as it seems that Leo and her find each other once again, Leo goes and spins the wheel by returning to his heavenly duties. There is aches between Leo and Piper, worry between Phoebe and Paige, pain/mistrust between Leo and Chris and Chris and Wyatt. The rainbow of feelings is crawling all over the Manor and fueling each battle, blazing all verbal quips and sisterly spats. Here are several of the moments from season 6.
- Piper speaks her mind via Phoebe when the sisters break Leo out of Valhalla, leading to the “You left us, didn’t you?” speech. Heartbreaker!
- Leo and Piper get into a heated discussion on the Cleaners. Poor Leo.
- The sisters’ magical mayhem to return Wyatt. After all, who would want to spend the next 50 years cleaning up the Halliwells’ magic. Not I!
- Bianca tracks back through the years in order to get Chris, her fiance, whose life is threaten by the very person Chris came back to save -- Wyatt. *One of the most revealing episodes of future Chris. I have never seen Chris sharing so many emotions…love, pain, anger, etc.
- Oh, don’t forget the moment Leo and Piper spend in the Ghostly plan that saves their love, saves Chris’s life and puts Charmed back on track.
- All I gotta say -- Leo: “I am not going to choose between you and Wyatt, Chris. I can’t.” Chris: “You don’t have to, dad. Find Gideon and you save us both.” Tears.
Ahhhh, season 6, how I miss you. Please feel free to post your comments or other moments of emotion from season six.
